Registration Deadline: October 17th, 2025
Registration is open!
Whether you're a delegate or a visitor, attending all or some of Convention weekend, everyone needs to register themselves.
Reminder: Registration vs. Certification
Registration is different than certification:
All individuals attending Convention fill out the registration form for themselves.
Churches fill out a different form (the certification form) to certify and pay for their delegates.
Your Role: Are You a Delegate or a Visitor?
Delegates:
“Delegates” = lay delegates & clergy delegates (which includes non-parochial/retired canonically resident clergy)
Thank you for being a delegate to Convention this year!
The all-inclusive fee of $210 per delegate includes the following:
Programming:
Friday Pre-Convention Workshop
Saturday Plenary Sessions/Convention Business
Saturday Banquet Program (Keynote) and Dance
Meals:
Saturday Lunch
Saturday Banquet Dinner
Sunday Breakfast
Your congregation should have filled out a Certification form to certify and pay for their delegates.
Visitors:
If you are not a delegate then you're a visitor (which includes alternate delegates), and we're glad to have you join us!
You have several options to choose from in the registration form.
Option 1: Business Day Experience $100 - includes:
Friday Pre-Convention Workshop
Saturday Plenary Sessions/Convention Business
Saturday Lunch
Option 2: Evening Experience $80 - includes:
Saturday Social Hour
Saturday Banquet Program (Keynote) and Dance
Saturday Banquet Dinner
Option 3: Sunday Morning Experience $30 - includes:
Sunday Breakfast
If a visitor chooses to attend all 3 options, their total cost would be $210, the same as the delegate all-inclusive fee.
FYI In addition to what's listed as included with the corresponding cost above, fees help us cover needed software, closed captioning, hotel fees, taxes, tips, and more.
What's not included in the fees listed above?
NOT included:
hotel reservations
meals not listed i.e. pre-Convention meals of Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast are on your own (visit the Hotel & Travel page for some suggestions)

Skip the registration form and instead fill out the Guest RSVP Friday Workshop form, and we suggest at $10 donation at the door. Learn more about the workshop here.

Skip the registration form and instead fill out the Hearings RSVP form to receive the Zoom link for the Pre-Convention Hearings. Learn more about the hearings here.
Everyone who registers for Convention (delegates & visitors) will receive the Hearings' Zoom link as part of their registration - they do not need to fill out the Hearings RSVP form.
What will I need to fill out a registration form?
You'll need to know:
Your role (i.e. are you a delegate or a visitor?)
Your contact information, including email (each delegate must have a separate email address)
Your church/affiliation (find the city and name of your church in the dropdown; OR if you are not with any of the listed churches, choose either "Episcopal Diocese of Iowa" - includes non-parochial/retired clergy canonically resident but not affiliated with an Episcopal church in Iowa, and diocesan staff - or "Not attending a church in the Episcopal Diocese of Iowa")
If you are a visitor/alternate delegate: is your congregation paying for you to attend, or will you pay for yourself? (if paying for yourself and want to pay online, have a credit card ready)
Whether you plan to attend the Friday evening workshop
Which included meals you plan to attend, and whether you want a meat or vegetarian meal
Any dietary restrictions or accessibility needs
Which pre-Convention online hearing you plan to attend (required of delegates, optional for visitors and anyone else in the diocese)
