End of Year Reminders for Congregations & Clergy

 

  • Charitable donations must be received or postmarked no later than December 31, 2024, in order to apply to 2024.

  • Approve and return your congregation's 2025 Stewardship Share pledge from the Diocesan office.

  • Remit final payments due for 2024 Stewardship Share, Iowa Connections, and Revolving Fund Loans to the Diocesan office.

  • Remit amounts collected in 2024 for special offerings (Bishop's Discretionary Fund, United Thank Offering, Episcopal Relief & Development, Good Friday Offering, and Theological Seminary Support) to the Diocesan office.

  • Send a copy of your Church Audit/Financial Review to the Diocesan Office. This annual review is a requirement for all Episcopal Churches due on September 1 each year.

  • Adopt a Vestry resolution designating a 2025 Housing Allowance for your Priest.

  • Review and renew Licensed Ministries for your congregation that are due to expire on December 31, 2024.

  • Licensed Clergy: fill out this annual Clergy Reporting and Renewal of Licensing form if you are non-parochial clergy, retired clergy, and licensed clergy, who wish to remain licensed to serve as clergy in the Diocese of Iowa.

  • Clergy seeking a license: fill out this form if you are clergy who wishes to be licensed to serve as a priest in the Diocese of Iowa.

  • Parochial Reports: substantial changes have been made to the filing of parochial reports - keep up to date with these changes here, and make sure your congregation files by 11:59pm February 28th as the deadline is midnight March 1st, 2025.

  • Priests and Deacons: Annual Clergy Continuing Education reporting form available here.

  • The 2025 Joint Intercession List will be posted on the website here before the end of the year.
