Enriching Your Retirement Day with Retired Clergy of Diocese of Iowa

On Wednesday, May 14, a gathering of eighteen retired clergy and spouses met for an informative presentation offered by the Church Pension Fund [CPG] at St. Timothy’s, West Des Moines. Our presenters were our Benefits Relationship Manager, the Rev. Chris Hamby, and his colleague Aliana Martinez. An engaging session sharing information on the retiree benefits programs, issues relating to scam protections, and life planning of personal and living wills, power of attorney selection, and much more was shared. And there was a table of bounty for morning snacks and lunch provided by the Hospitality Ministry at St. Timothy’s.

As our Chaplains to the Retired ministry continues to set a path onward, being the connection for the retirees to our diocese and the Church Pension Fund, we will be planning other gatherings in the years to come, informational and just fun! Stay tuned.
