Annual Church FINANCIAL REVIEW
Annual financial reviews are required by the Canons of the Episcopal Church for all parishes, missions, and other institutions. The primary purpose of a review is to assure that financial statements are fairly stated as well as to protect the persons handling monies and investments.
The annual financial review is due in the diocesan office by September 1 each year.
The Financial Review Procedures established by the Diocese of Iowa have been updated. The new procedures provide a guide for churches and examiners to conduct an approved review.
