Pine Ridge Informational Meeting - 9:00 AM, April 12 at St. Timothy's Church, West Des Moines for those interested in participating in the mission trip to Batesland, South Dakota July 13-26.

Faith Formation Summit 2008 – May 1-3, 2008 for those who minister with children and youth. This Faith Formation Training Conference will be held at YMCA of the Rockies, Estes Park, CO. It will offer a large selection of seminars and workshops to assist staff and volunteers who strive for effective and excellent faith formation ministry. MORE>>

Summer Ministries School and Retreat - June 27-29, 2008 MORE>>

The Episcopal Youth Event 2008 (E.Y.E.) E.Y.E. will be held July 8-13, 2008 at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas for young people who have just finished 9-12 grade that year and adult sponsors. It serves as a celebration to inspire a deeper faith in Jesus Christ, and a renewed commitment to mission and ministry. Youth and adult sponsors must have submitted an application to the Youth Office at the Diocese of Iowa by February 29 in order to be considered to attend. Safeguarding God’s Children Training - The diocesan approved child abuse prevention education and training, Safeguarding God’s Children, is required for all church personnel who regularly work with or around children or youth. Contact any of the certified trainers to set up your own training event, or check out the events calendar to see if a Safeguarding God's Children training is already scheduled near you.

Coming this spring, Safeguarding God’s Children training will be available online. Individuals needing training or to renew their training will be able to be access the training modules using a computer with a high-speed internet connection.
