The Multicultural Ministries Commission
provides leadership for the Diocese of Iowa in ensuring respect, understanding, and inclusion of all of God’s people in our lives and ministry, regardless of racial or ethnic heritage.
The commission serves as a source of education and advocacy within the diocese and its parishes as we explore the complexity of multiculturalism and work towards the elimination of racism and other oppression both within and outside our church, ensuring that all are welcomed equally into our life in Christ.
