155th Annual Diocesan Convention was held November 2-3, 2007 in Des Moines.
We celebrated The Great Turning - God's earth - God's people, emphasizing the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) through our work, meditations, hands-on activites, reports, speaker, worship and exhibits. Our keynote speaker, The Rev. Mike Kinman (Episcopalians forGlobal Reconciliation) challenged us to action; and an evening U2charist service and morning Eucharist service featuring an African liturgy furthered the call for global reconciliation.

Next General Convention
Every three years the Episcopal Church holds a General Convention to report on and plan ahead for ministry at the national and international level and the Anglican Communion.
